Differences betwwen Microsoft Store Version & .exe

Hallo,

i will buy Affinity Photo and now I'm not sure what version will be better for me. Are there any differnces between .exe and the app?
I'm working (actually) two devices: Desktop and Surface Pro 4

 

Can I install each Version on two devices? Are the programs the same? Can plug-ins be used with both of them?
