Using the New Panorama pop-up window I ADD several RAW image files. Subsequent stitching works fine however the resulting panorama is several stops under-exposed.

If I use another software tool to first convert the RAW image files to full size highest quality JPEG files and input these to New Panorama pop-up window the resulting panorama has correct exposure.

In brief:

RAW input to New Panorama produces severely underexposed result.

JPEG input to New Panorama produces correctly exposed result.

Please help.

Hi.

I'm pretty certain the intended procedure with APh is to first open the RAW files in the Develop Persona, make necessary "adjustments" there and click the "Develop" button for each RAW and THEN create the panorama.
