Hello Affinity guys!

You are doing a great job over there, thanks a lot! I really appreciate the quite cheap but very capable alternative to Photoshop. But what I am curious about is when the latest lenses will be supported. I have the Sony FE 24-105mm f/4 and the Tamron FE 28-75mm f/2.8 and unfortunately lens corrections in RAW are not applied/supported yet. May you please give me an estimate, as of when those lenses will be included in an upcoming update? Or is there a possibility to get the lens profiles from somewhere else and install them in Photo manually?

Additionally, I could not find an official list of supported cameras and lenses on the actual Photo website. There are some lists in the forum, but those are partly posted back in December 2016, so probably not up to date. Maybe there is a possibility for you guys to provide an up to date list directly on the website. For customer convenience. ;-)

Thanks again and have a great day,

VinoHazel

Hey Gabe,

thanks for your reply. Although it sounds a bit unfortunate. Sorry to hear that there is no further lens support integration planned so far. So I was researching a little bit and found out about a software called Capture One. It has a different approach when it comes to lens correction. On the one hand it uses lens profiles, but it also supports the so-called "Manufacturer-Profile", which uses specific entries from the RAW's EXIF data for lens correction. This way that software is completely independent of implementing lens profiles, as long as the lens manufacturers put in the necessary data into the RAW file.

Maybe this would be a great solution for Photo as well.

Take care and thanks again,

vino
