Hi. I have snapped 1st triangle point to the top of the rectangle and drawn the rest of it. At the end a thin stripe with background color was left between 2 objects. Why there is a thin stripe between 2 objects if I snap 1 to another one like in the attached photo? Stroke is set to "none" for both elements so I don't understand why this thin stripe is there. Is there a setting I need to set? It doesn't make sense to make the rectangle larger or merge those 2 objects to get rid of it - but I know I can fix it that way.

Thanks

Hi svstudio,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Check the coordinates (X,Y) of the triangle (also applies to the rectangle). They are probably not on integer values and thus the yellow from the background bleeds through the edges between the two shapes due to the antialiasing. If both objects (nodes) are on integer values (thus aligned with the pixel grid) you shouldn't see any line when viewing the design at 100% view. To help position the objects/nodes on integer values enable Force Pixel Alignment in the main toolbar (this only applies to objects you create after enabling it - it doesn't adjust previously created objects).
