"Select and save focus area": to generate (layered) masks that only contain sharp
detect areas of an image and fade out blurred ones.
Dear Affinity Photo community: exists in Affinity Photo analogous to the Photoshop command "Select =>
Focus Area"  the possibility to mark blurred areas of an image?
Aim: to detect sharp areas of a 3D scan, fade out blurred areas, and this ultimately
automate via batch file. This would be very helpful working with Photoscan (Agisoft).
PS: I'm a novice in the forum and I'm looking forward to your reply(s).

Thank you! (Sorry for my bad english, but best whishes from Germany)

Hi Tom King,

Welcome to the forums :)

Unfortunately there is no way to do this in Affinity.

Thanks

Dear Callum,

thank you very much for such a prompt answer.
It's a pity, because Affinity is such a great software. I hope that this feature will be part of one of the next Versions. With best wishes from Hannover (Germany). Tom
