I find Tha importing from Photos library only works with files imported after installing IOS12 those imported previously cannot be imported. Since installing IOS12 I cannot export JPEGS to Photos via shared albums. What’s changed and how to fix this issue?

I agree that doing an import from a shared album can be problematic, but using IOS drag and drop works much better.

I too agree. I am using Affinity Photos and direct drag and drop is not possible. What I have to do is export the image file to “Files” in the Cloud and then either share it to Photos or, as you say, drag and drop it. Thanks for your input.
