Need Help!!!

Hi i am on affinity photo and I need to factory reset the program as it’s gone all wried and hard to use now when I first got it it was easy the layout with the tool bars and so on and now it’s just no good I have tried to reset it every way and it’s just not resetting please can someone help me please

Go View > Studio > Reset Studio to reset all the Studio panels (on the right).

If the top Toolbar is messed up, go View > Customise Toolbar and drag the set of tools from the bottom of the customise panel, up to the app Toolbar, that resets them.

For the Tools panel on the left hand side, go View > Customise > Tools  and click on Reset. Set the number or columns to 1, if you changed them.

All that should get you back the default settings without losing anything.

If you need a more 'serious' reset. Press and hold down the Ctrl key while launching the program. You will get a Clear User Data panel.

You should only need the first three to be ticked (ticked by default). That clears more than the individual reset options I first described, but be careful if you tick anything else, it can be used to reset EVERYTHING (depending on what you tick) so you would lose all your keyboard shortcuts, brushes, styles etc.
