8B8 Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 When printing in Designer I find that even if I use the exact same settings for margins when printing, I can print a number of pages that are the same but if I come back to it at another time the margins will not be the same. This is extremely frustrating as I am trying to print booklets that must align. At first I thought it was my printer a Fuji Docuprint laser but it is the same for my new Brother laser printer. I am never sure where the image is going to come out on the paper! Quote
Staff Gabe Posted September 22, 2018 Staff Posted September 22, 2018 Hi @8B8, Welcome to the forums. If the margins are the same in the print dialogue/document settings, it's most likely your printed not pulling the paper through consistently. To test this out, export your design as PDF. This way you will "bypass" any of the settings in Designer. Print that PDF. If it still happens, you know that your printer's at fault. Thanks Gabe. Quote
8B8 Posted September 23, 2018 Author Posted September 23, 2018 I did as you suggested and created a PDF but it comes up with exactly the same panel so I am not sure what settings in Designer I am bypassing? Quote
Staff Gabe Posted September 23, 2018 Staff Posted September 23, 2018 If the exported PDF comes with fine and after some time the margins are not right using the same PDF, it's definitely your printer at fault. Quote
8B8 Posted September 23, 2018 Author Posted September 23, 2018 OK, thanks I will see how it goes Quote
