Brush tool shows only a cross instead of a circle

Hello. I'm on windows 10 and I'm using a Lenovo yoga 920 with an active pen 2. When I'm in brush tool and use the trackpad, the brush cursor shows up properly as a round shape with a center, but once I switch to my pen the circle disappears and I'm left with only a dot... What am I doing wrong? help!

Hi @Kotiki,

Welcome to the forums. 

That's most likely the pen's behaviour. For example, on the Surface Pro, it does the same. When using the pen, you lose the actual "cursor" and it's replaced with a crosshair. You can try and check the pen settings in your Windows settings, but it's definitely not something you can "fix" from within Affinity, as the issue is not caused by our software.

okay, thank you... It works properly in Photoshop but I can't figure out why it doesn't in Affinity T.T

PS might have some sort of pen recognition algorithm. We do not do anything specific for pens and touch screens. We only rely on the already existing drivers.
