How to create a text outline like pictured?

Recommended Posts

I did this before in PSE but was wondering if I could do it in Affinity Photo.  I can't remember how I even did it in PSE. I just need to create an outline around the text so that it stand out against a shape.  I remember I had to convert text to curves, select, expand, and then at some point delete from selection... but I'm lost.  Thanks for any help!

Wow :o

You don't need to do any of that :)

Type some Artistic text.

Set the stroke to white, pink or something.

Adjust the Stroke width by dragging on the slider.

Note: Some of the  text tools may be off the edge of the screen, depending on your monitor size. So you may have to click the arrow thing
