Just as with the other Affinity platforms, I am actually very pleased with this first beta version of Publisher. However, with your primary competitor being Adobe (and the fact that we as designers have to regularly work with .indd files specifically... because in reality most of our colleagues still work with InDesign) adding the ability to import/export this file type is a necessity. For me personally, I genuinely see this as a deal breaker if I'm considering trading in my Adobe InDesign subscription for Affinity Publisher.
