sebsc Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Dear all, I haven't really found a recent or working answer on this issue using search. The changelogs for the most recent versions of Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer mention an improved Microsoft Dial support. However, I am not able to use the Dial in either programme, at all. How can I get it to work? I'd be really happy for a clarification on this issue (note: I am using the "normal" versions of both, not the store version, and I hope that Dial is supported in these as well). Thanks! Quote
Staff Lee D Posted August 31, 2018 Staff Posted August 31, 2018 Hi sebsc, We don't have any tutorials available showing the dial being used. Currently it needs to be enabled in Preferences > Tools > Enable Radial Controller support. It's still experimental but supports some brush properties (Width, Hardness, Opacity, etc), canvas rotation, radial blur, and history. Saurbaum 1 Quote
sebsc Posted September 1, 2018 Author Posted September 1, 2018 Awesome, thank you very much! Dial works now, and I really like how it is used thus far. I did check the preferences before, but I must admit I totally overlooked that option. Again, thanks! Saurbaum 1 Quote
Saurbaum Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 I see there's a start of it for the Photo app but apparently nothing for Designer yet. Like it, more please. Quote
