kiracat Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Hi, I've downloaded the Beta version, but every time I open it it says 'New Beta Available, there is a new version of the beta, please download the latest version'. I click 'download' and it asks whether to replace original version which I did, but when I opened the 'new' version, I got the new beta message again... I also tried keeping both versions but opening the newer one, same thing happened. Am I doing something wrong? I'm a bit lost... Thank you :) *** Update *** I've now deleted and reinstalled and it's fine. I downloaded the early version originally and have had a few problems with it. Should have reinstalled before I asked, sorry. Thanks for your help.
000 Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Have you installed the new beta or just downloaded it? Downloading it, puts a .dmg file in your downloads folder — open it and move the contents to your programs folder, overwrite if it asks.
kiracat Posted March 1, 2015 Author Posted March 1, 2015 Thanks Jens. Yes, I opened the dmg file, it asked whether to replace original file, said yes... Open new app and same message. I've now re-installed the whole thing and it seems to have fixed it :) peter 1
