Maori Font Problem ā

Hello,

I'm doing some design which involves use of the Maori macro ā.

As you can see I can type it using a Maori Keyboard.

What I can't do is to produce an ā in the 'Oxford' font.

Help gladly received.

I presume you meant to type ‘macron’ rather than ‘macro’!

It sounds as though that font doesn’t include an ā glyph. Where did you get it from? I don’t think it’s supplied as standard with Windows, macOS or iOS.

Edit: I’ve found a free ‘Oxford’ font and a commercial ‘Oxford Medium’ font, the latter belonging to a font family with three other styles. Both of them have very limited coverage of the ‘Latin Extended-A’ Unicode range where ā resides.
