Brush parameters in upper toolbar are missing

Hey I wanted to ask if you could help me out . When I use my brush tool the upper toolbar parameters are missing and that really put a dent in my projects. Could you guys let me know if there is a way to fix it, thanks in advance.

Check the setting of the View menu "Show Context Toolbar" item.
