TD-RED Posted May 15, 2018 Share Posted May 15, 2018 I worked with Illustrator for many years. Aff. Designer is a great alternative and I switched from Adobe to Affinity Designer & Photo. But obviously the following important functions are missing: 1. fill closed areas in illustrations with an interactive paint bucket without creating surfaces beforehand. 2. A line or curve is selected. The function to select all curves and lines that have the same contour color or line width, for example, is now missing. Is there a solution here I don't know yet? Staff stokerg Posted May 15, 2018 Staff Share Posted May 15, 2018 Hi TD-RED and Welcome to the Forums, I'd suggest giving this video a watch on how the fill tool works in Designer: https://vimeo.com/110157202 If you've drawn a closed shaped with Pen tool, you can set the fill for the shape from the context toolbar along the top of Affinity. As for selecting curves and lines with the same contour, it's not possible at the moment but we've had a number of requests for a feature like this, so hopefully it will come in a future update.
