Hello all. I've probably done something phenomenally stupid via fat fingers, but this is driving me mad...

I was working on an A4 sized document and then, for proofing and review purposes, scaled it down to A5 to export (Document Setup > Page Preset, Objects will: Rescale). A, what I assume is, an A5 sized blue box is now overlaid on my page (see attached).

Apologies if I'm being thick, but I assumed that the page itself auto-scales down and I don't need to manually resize everything to fit inside the new A5 box? More irritatingly, items on the page now snap to my new A5 friend.

If it's any help / hindrance, I'm using the Mac version. Thanks all!

Hi jflaherty,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

Go to File ▸ Document Setup, Margins tab and untick Include Margins. Does it fix the issue?

For some weird reason it's enabling margins after resizing the doc. I will log this to be looked at.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

You wonderful person - that has solved it (and saved me a few hours' worth of therapy); thank you!

Keep up the great work on an awesome product (and if you could fast-track the bend text feature, that would be even better ;))
