Vince123 Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 Hello, Affinity Photo on macOS High Sierra and RAW How does Affinity Photo decode RAW files. Does Affinity use Apples built in Image IO to decode RAW or does Affinity Photo have its own RAW decoder(s) or does Affinity use a 3rd party library? Regards! Quote
R C-R Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 For the Mac version you have a choice between Apple's Core Image & Serif's RAW engine: From the View menu choose "Assistant Manager..." or click on the tuxedo "Assistant options" icon on the toolbar if it is visible. When the Assistant window opens, click on the "Develop Assistant" button at the bottom. In the Develop Assistant window the first popup is for choosing the RAW Engine.
