selection brush tool? (Designer 1.6 Mac)

Recommended Posts

Hi, using the "Selection Brush Tool" (1.6 Designer, Mac) once selected and outlined an image, how do you DE-SELECT it? I've tried selecting it again, changing to other tools, clicking in any empty space but it still keeps whatever I have selected, selected.

Then a moment ago the app quit. I opened it again, and it asked if I would like to open it to last ...... yes, and it did.

Even reopening the app' to that same image, its still selected and it just won't go away.

I've tried pixel and draw persona tools, but I cannot lose that selection. thanks

appreciate the help.

Your difficulty is partly because you made a pixel selection in the Pixel Persona and are now in the Draw Persona. In the Pixel Persona, you could use the menu, Select > Deselect but that is not available in Draw.

You can use the shortcut Ctrl + D. I expect that is Cmd + D on a Mac.

Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.

Yep, I was just coming here to say I found it, what you said. Menu-Select>deselect And the cmd+D also worked.

Thanks for your response.

edit: toltec, I only went to the "draw" section to see if it would help deselect it.

Thanks tho.
