Dave Wolland Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 Hi l am having problems starting a new drawing. The painting brush tool and others don't work when l open a new document. I keep getting this message "The assistant added a new raster layer. You are now paintings on that layer" as a result no lines appear when l start drawing!!
Staff stokerg Posted February 9, 2018 Staff Posted February 9, 2018 Hi Dave and Welcome to the Forums, With the brush tool selected, make sure Protect Alpha isn't enabled. Also make sure you have the opacity set to 100 and then select the colour and try painting with the brush.
