petelodge89 Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 I have installed Nik plugins for the Mac version of Photo and my preview screen on opening any plugin has a horrible colour cast and desaturated image. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, is there a solution. Please note that the same install has worked fine in Lightroom and Photoshop. Thanks, Peter Quote
Staff MEB Posted February 7, 2018 Staff Posted February 7, 2018 Hi petelodge89, Welcome to Affinity Forums Are you using wide colour profiles with your images (Adobe RGB, Pro Photo RGB, DCI-P3 etc)? Currently we don't pass the colour profile info to the plugin so you may notice colour shifts in the preview. This is a known issue we already have logged. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
petelodge89 Posted February 7, 2018 Author Posted February 7, 2018 Hi MEB, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I use a Pentax K3 set to adobe RGB, I have set Affinity photo to work in sRGB but still have the same problem. Going forward, does this mean that I have to set my camera colour space to sRGB as well in order to use the plugins ? Regards, Peter Quote
Staff MEB Posted February 7, 2018 Staff Posted February 7, 2018 Setting it to sRGB may not solve the problem. Seems on the Mac it assumes the image is in sRGB and the colours match but not on Windows. We are still investigating this. Note: my previous reply was a little ambiguous, sorry (fixed to avoid more confusion). Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
