KellyD Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Sorry if this question is in the wrong place but I have searched elsewhere and can't find anywhere else suitable. I bought and installed Affinity Design on my Mac last year - I haven't had the time to use it much but I went to the store to buy the workbook and it didn't recognise my account. I receive marketing emails to my email address and as I have bought the product I find it strange - especially as I had no problems logging not the forum from the app on my mac. Is there a simple reason that I'm not seeing? Cheers Quote
Staff MEB Posted February 1, 2018 Staff Posted February 1, 2018 Hi KellyD, Welcome to Affinity Forums We only sell the Mac version through the Mac App Store which requires your Apple ID to buy applications and is managed by Apple. We have no control over it. The Affinity Designer workbook is only available for sell on our own store - The Affinity Store - which is managed by us. So if you only have bought the application before and haven't claimed the Grade UI Kit from the Welcome Screen in Affinity Designer you still don't have an account on our store. You will have to create a new one. The e-mails you are receiving are probably because you have downloaded a trial (we require an e-mail for that) or have signed-up for our newsletter maybe? The account you have in this Forum is also independent from the the Affinity Store and can't be used there unless you create a new account with the exact same credentials (e-mai/password) you used to register on this Forum.
