wearevivid Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 Hey guys, I am new to the forum. I am creating a logo and need to get it ready to export for t-shirt printing. That is a whole new beast for me. Any tips on how to prepare it when exporting? Also, I noticed there is no measuring tool. I can use rectangle tool for that but have not found where i can input exact measurements. Thanks guys Quote
toltec Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 Make sure it is at least 110 pixels per inch, as silk screening on T shirts is usually done up to about 55 lpi, sometimes less. When you set a new document, set the size. Serif don't provide a dpi for silkscreen but you can easily set it to 110 in the DPI box. It doesn't matter if you set the DPI a bit higher. New Document panel If you drag a rectangle, the transform panel displays the dimensions and there is a readout on screen. You can use the transform panel for entering precise measurements wearevivid and adirusf 2 Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.
