tomy8910 Posted January 24, 2018 Author Posted January 24, 2018 (edited) Do I first make copies then detach those copies from the original symbol? Do I have to sync them afterward? Edited January 24, 2018 by tomy8910 spelling Quote
Staff MEB Posted January 24, 2018 Staff Posted January 24, 2018 Hi tomy8910, No, if you detach them they will no longer synchronise with the original symbol. Create the copies of the symbol then select each line (curve layer - not the symbol layer), turn Sync off (in the Symbols panel) to change the properties you want (in this case the colour) then turn Sync on again and move to the next one. This way only the colour attribute of the lines is not synchronised, all the rest remains in sync. Check this video tutorial for more info about Symbols and how they work: Symbols.
