derChris77 Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 I usually used Adobe Flash for drawing and try to switch to Affinity Designer. Great on Flash was that you can draw lines, Combine them by crossing them and filling areas in a very easy way: Can I draw this way in Affinity Designer? Quote
gdenby Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 I suppose you were not asking if AD has animation capabilities like Flash. It does not. AD has similar drawing abilities, but there isn't any auto-close feature. AFAIK pixel outlines must be closed by hand before filling. No 1-to-1 match on how the different programs work. In AD I think you would have better results learning to draw w. the vector pencil, closing those lines, filling, and adjusting the stroke widths as needed. Try the free download, and decide for yourself.
