Purpleduck Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 When I export an Affinity file on iCloud, I just loses its history. Can’t find a way to keep it. When I reopen it, it’s the file without the history. If I instead duplicate it within the app, it maintains it if I select that option. I am new to the app so probably I’m doing something wrong. Is it possible to export the file WITH history to the cloud? Quote
DM1 Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 Use Save a Copy instead and select Save History. iCloud appears in the Save list so should do what you want. Purpleduck Posted January 9, 2018 Author Posted January 9, 2018 Worked. Don’t know what I missed before. Now I know what’s the size of the files with the history. Great feature, as far as I know Photoshop doesn’t have it. Quote
DM1 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 As I understand it, Save a copy stores a copy of the AP file in a location of your choice. You can then reload this copy at any time.. If you don’t do Save a copy, the file is 'only' stored within the AP app. If you delete the app you lose the file. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen).
