I played a little bit with the channels. Just for exploring - i did not understand what i did, so i leave this. It SEEMS all is this same.

But some steps later, i remark that my brush is now painting in a half-alfa green, instead solid black. No way to change this. I looked in my channels - nothing seems to select/mask.

I switch to the history and voila, before the channels-point all is as excpected, but after this, this strange behavior appears.

On booth points (before and after) the channel-panel looks like in the picture???? What a trap!!!!!!

EDIT: Ok, i figured out something: The eyes/pens in the single channels does not reflect its status immediately. The indicates the new status first after doing something: In the picture-case: If i go one step back the box keeps the same, but if than select a brush and mousehover my image, the pens get white ( i guess meaning active). Really confusing!

Your channels (except Rot) have editing switched off. The pencils

 

Click on the other pencils or on the reset button

Yeah, as said i figured out this circumstances, but also as said: it takes a while until the channel-box refreshes the status.

Or its maybe ram-over? But i will create a new topic to this.

Thanks for mark the reset button, i didnt see it till yet ;)
