Polygonius Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Any way to disable that a shortcut for a group of tools skip trough the all items? Example the "J" skips from red eye to inpaint to repair... and the frame-text i need also really seldom and so on.... Its confusing and necking me! toltec Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Edit > Preferences Keyboard Shortcuts Set the second dropdown menu (as shown under "Photo") to Tools Remove the shortcuts you don't want by clicking the X in the entry box (far right) and just keep the one you want If you hover over the double arrow, it shows the other shortcuts assigned to that shortcut. It the case of J Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.
Polygonius Posted January 3, 2018 Author Posted January 3, 2018 Ah, thank you, it works. But is there an easier way to find all "brothers" in one view? Like typing "J" and all tools using this shorty will shown filtered in a list? However, with the help in your second picture i see at least for what i have to browse. BTW: if i complete overwrite the factory-defaults (maybe the best for my kind of workflow), do i have to re-set all os-standards like cmd+a, cmd+n.... or is there any "keep os-wide-standards" by doing this? Btwww: cmd+j is not a standard, its cmd+d in most other apps EDIT: i now remark, that a "single-tool-shorty" like the B for brush (and just the brush), by a second press of B jumps to the last tool. This can be completely confusing. I want that it keeps itself or jumps ALLWAYS to the V (moving the layer). Quote OSX 12.5 / iMac Retina 27" / Radeon Pro 580X / Metall: on! --- WWG1WGA WW!
