kswaty Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 Just purchased Photo and Designer today and by mistake installed on my Sandbox partition instead of my main HD. I'm thinking I need to uninstall, then redownload from the mac app store - is that correct and if it is, how do I uninstall? Quote
R C-R Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 I am not sure what you mean about installing the Mac versions on your "Sandbox partition." The installation process should be automatic for any app downloaded from the Mac App Store, & should install the app in the root level Applications folder of the startup drive. Are you saying it did not do that, that you moved the apps to some other drive or partition, or what? kswaty Posted December 25, 2017 Author Posted December 25, 2017 Thank you for your reply. I use Superduper and clone a partition just to do my updates in, then when I know the update works well, I copy it back to my main partition. Apps are supposed to be installed on the main HD. So I finally figured out that I could just trash the apps from the sandbox partition and when I did that the apps showed up in the mac app store in a way that I could download them again. I had not done that before. I am trying to get in a position to live without adobe and really hoping I can use affinity exclusively. Quote
