App won't launch? Not appearing in launchpad Mac?

Hi there,

 

I recently purchased both Designer and Photo.

 

Photo has installed fine on Mac – it's in launchpad and runs no problems.

 

Designer, on the other hand, has installed but is nowhere to be found on my computer?

 

The App store will not allow me to reinstall or launch the app (which would not be ideal anyway).

Do you have any suggestions?

Hi Mike,

Welcome to Affinity Forums

Check if the app was placed/installed inside the Applications folder. If it's there, restart the system and check if it works as expected. If not drag it to to the Trash and empty it, then run the Mac App Store app, go to the Purchased tab on top and install the app again from the list below.

There was an update to the operating system waiting to install. I've installed that now and the AppStore is allowing me to reinstall Designer.

 

It's worked.
