Hi. I read in a review before buying Affinity Photo that it's a good idea to 'change to adobe raw or better apple raw' apparently in preferences. Is it true? If so, where in preferences? Thanks.

Welcome to Affinity Forums

I don't know the reason for such suggestion (what's the issue with the default Serif Labs engine?) but you can change the RAW Engine used by Affinity Photo opening a RAW file then going to menu View ▸ Assistant Manager... and switching the RAW engine from the RAW Engine dropdown. You will need to reload the RAW file for the new setting take effect.

In fact, I've just A/Bd the Serif raw converter with my usual one...I'll be staying with the Serif one...
