AlunRees
Hi, I'm a new user and have just started using AP. I have a UGEE 2150 Graphics tablet that works flawlessly with Sketchbook Pro 8.0 but does not seem to like AP. All that happens is the menus on the RHS of the screen scroll up and down regardless of stylus placement. Is there any information on configuring a graphics tablet for use with this software? Should it have detected it successfully? It's not a drivers issue.....despite uninstall and reinstall...it still works flawlessly with Sketchbook Pro and still does the same with AP.....scrolls menus up and down on RHS of screen. I'm running Windows 10. Any ideas or help would be most welcome. Many thanks
tonyt3rry
I dont think there is a tablet mode, Ive not seen any palm rejection etc like sketchbook offers. you can put pressure mode on for painting etc but for other stuff you have to make sure you dont touch the screen (surface pro 4 user)
Wikinger
Bonjour. Peut être devriez vous faire l'essai de porter un gant, afin d'éviter tout contact responsable de désordre (?).
AlunRees
Thank you both for your responses. Wikinger: Salut j'ai essayé le gant mais le problème persiste toujours. Le même problème existe dans PS CS6. Je me demande si AP utilise le même ou des pilotes similaires? Je suppose que c'est de retour à la souris. tonyt3rry: I wear a modified glove to both help produce smooth lines and also prevent grease and smudges on the monitor screen. The issue still persists so I guess it's not as versatile as I initially thought. Pity really because it's far more user friendly than PS. No worries. I guess it won't get fixed sometime soon so it's back to the mouse.
AlunRees
Just an update to provide closure and possibly help others who may encounter a similar issue. Seemingly the latest update to Windows 10 has broken a lot of drivers and interfaces; the operation and interaction of UGEE 2150 with many applications for one. Although I was using the 'latest' drivers from Nov 2107, the windows update was more recent. As a result, new drivers were released by UGEE on 12 Dec 2017 to overcome these introduced difficulties. I downloaded the new drivers and restarted my system. The UGEE 2150 now works as I expected it would. Plug and Play = Play and Pray in reality. Lesson learnt - you might think you have the latest drivers but there are always newer available!
