The new download

I have a message saying download the new version of affinity. When I click on download a message comes and says it could destroy my computer. What is this and why? The computer has also started to hang up when I try to work on a photo. Please can you help me. Thanks

I'm not sure to what message you are referring to but i can assure you it will not destroy your computer in any way. Can you post a screen capture of the message please?

Are you using a Windows or Macinstosh machine?
