Calculate Square inches of a shape in Photo

Is there a way to accurately calculate the size (in square inches) of a shape that I add to a photo?  I understand I can add a grid and approximate or eyeball the size but is there a way to calculate it exactly?  Thank you!

No, there is currently no way to calculate the area of an object in the Affinity apps.
