user mail address not identified

Hello!

 

I tried to download the new bonus material for the photo program. When I'm asked to enter my mail address and password the system responds with a message, that my mail address is unknown. After I have purchased the affinity photo product in the Apple Store, I have received several occasional announcement mails from you. So why does your system tell me, that may mail address is unknown? I am a registered member of your user forum since today. Your system has sent me all required confirmation messages to [EDIT] e-mail address removed for privacy reasons [/EDIT] which is my official mail address. The forum access works now, however this hasn't changed the situation regarding the download.

Please help. I have no idea, if this is the right approach ....... but I didn't find a self explaining way .

Welcome to Affinity Forums

The Mac Apple store is managed by Apple and is completely independent from the Affinity Store which is managed by us. Apple doesn't share any customer's information with developers so we have no way to know who purchased our apps there. Your Affinity Forum Account is also independent from the Affinity Store Account. They are not linked in any way, so the credentials used here are not recognised in the Affinity Store. So unless you have bought the Affinity Designer Workbook (which is the only other item we sell there besides the Windows version of our apps) in the Affinity Store you probably don't have an account there yet. To get the extras you must fill in your details in the New to Affinity? tab to create an account and complete the "extras" order and you should then be able to download them. Note that the offer to claim the extras was only valid for two weeks (counting from v1.6 release date) so you may not be able to get them now (i know it was still possible to do it a couple days after but i believe this is now disabled).
