Can I try to run it under wine?

Recommended Posts

Hi! I recently purchased Affinity Designer. And I am happy with the product. I have Windows on my laptop, but my heart belongs to linux. I tried running the demo under wine. Newer versions run the installer perfectly, but I have some small issues to solve before the application runs.

My question is: "do I break the lisence agreement by doing so?".

I believe I am the first to run the installer successfully, but I do have some issues regarding some dll-files. After som research these issues will be solved in newer versions of wine.

The more - if not the most - important question is: How do you got the Installer/Designer run on Wine?

I tried it from time to time with no success at all so I and many others would be glad if you could write down how you made it working.
Waiting for a tutorial... ;)
