Frogy Diak
Currently it is a pain to delete assets, I accidentally imported an SVG layers and it has 100+ layers, I have to manually delete each in the Assets and delete. To top it all the dialog box for Delete have no shortcut for Yes or No, I have to make sure I click Yes Maybe in the future, it would be nice to be able to select multiple Assets and hit delete all at once. Also, do you think it would be a good idea to be able to import an image assets directly without opening an image first and add? Another one, ability to rename an asset by just clicking on the name or double click, currently it is in context menu (right-click menu) Thanks! Staff MEB Posted August 28, 2017 Staff Share Posted August 28, 2017 Hi Frogy Diak, Welcome to Affinity Forums Opening an SVG doesn't import/place any assets in the Assets panel automatically. Have you dragged them all to the Assets panel? If you did so and have created a new category for them you can simply delete the entire category to delete them all again. If you just added them to an existing category then yes, you must delete them one by one. Currently there's no way to select multiple assets. Thanks for your suggestions and support. Frogy Diak
Hi MEB, I already added my assets like 200+ avatars but I accidentally added one SVG avatar that is not grouped so it added all the layers which is more than 100+ layers. I have to delete those one by one, I cannot delete the category since it will also delete those 200+ that I already added. Quote Currently there's no way to select multiple assets. Don't you think it is a must have feature ASAP? I am a newbie with AD by the way, just learning how to use it and I am exploring the Assets. Trying to like it over Sketch so far I am liking it because of Assets but the lack of basic features that I already mentioned is not helping. Another thing that I just found out is when importing an Assets file, it creates its own category and there is no way to import an asset file to a category. Well, don't you think that is not a basic feature? Usability feature is what I meant, having an asset feature with half cook functionalities is a turn off.
