tmcmanamey Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Is there a way to use one line to split another line? In Illustrator I can use intersect to split lines. Another option would be snapping to an intersection. Or maybe a "Cut" tool to cut at an intersection or given point. Thanks. Quote
Staff MEB Posted February 4, 2015 Staff Posted February 4, 2015 Hello tmcmanamey Welcome to Affinity Forums :) No, boolean operations aren't working yet for open paths/lines. A knife tool is already on our roadmap to be implemented later. Meanwhile you can create a node with the Node tool then with the node still selected go to the Action section in the context toolbar and select Break Curve. SGen Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Wish I saw this earlier. Haha. turns out after breaking the curve, you still gotta select the points of the segment then hit delete to delete it! =D Quote
