tmcmanamey
Is there a way to use one line to split another line? In Illustrator I can use intersect to split lines. Another option would be snapping to an intersection. Or maybe a "Cut" tool to cut at an intersection or given point. Thanks.
Staff MEB Posted February 4, 2015 Staff Share Posted February 4, 2015 Hello tmcmanamey Welcome to Affinity Forums :) No, boolean operations aren't working yet for open paths/lines. A knife tool is already on our roadmap to be implemented later. Meanwhile you can create a node with the Node tool then with the node still selected go to the Action section in the context toolbar and select Break Curve. tmcmanamey and JesseM 2 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
SGen
Wish I saw this earlier. Haha. turns out after breaking the curve, you still gotta select the points of the segment then hit delete to delete it! =D
