wgphoto
It appears that in the latest beta (1.64.48), the High Pass filter has a couple of issues. Normally, I do a "pass" of sharpening by creating a stamp visible layer and applying a high pass filter set to monochrome, then setting blend mode to linear light or overlay.. Now, it appears if you select monochrome, you get some color along with the gray that you normally see. Only if you deselect monochrome do you get the normal high pass display, which is typically gray with kind of an embossing effect showing what will be sharpened, depending on radius. Another issue is that if you set the filter to be a live filter now, set the blend mode, then adjust the opacity, a weird saturation effect happens to the image the more you bring down the opacity.
