rdat
Hi, I edited a single RAW file on Affinity Photo app so far, and the data section is saying that the photo file (which is around 25 mb) is occupying 200mb of space after my edits. At this rate I will only be able to edit a few photos on the iPad. Is there a fix for this? The adobe apps don't seem to do the same. Thanks. n8r
jhoy
Hi rdat When effects/enhancements are made to an image it does increase in size, I would advise creating either or both a cloud and dropbox account and saving the images to these.
Staff TonyB Posted July 18, 2017 Staff Share Posted July 18, 2017 The RAW will be stored compressed but Affinity can't use lossy compression as we don't know how much detail you would like to sacrifice. 200mb is inline with what a 16bit Photo file with edits should be.
