To load the brushes into Afinity, go to the brushes tab on the right of the interface (or View-> Studio-> Brushes), click on the small menu icon on the right and select Import Category... Then use the new dialog to pick your .afbrushes file. I don't know if the brushes given by 3D Artist mag are for Draw (Vector Brush) or Pixel persona (Paint Brush), but the process to load them is similar. A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
