[AD/AP] Renaming a Layer with a keyboard shortcut

Recommended Posts

I find it very convenient being able to rename a layer without double-clicking on it!

F2 is very intuitive for me; others have suggested cmd+R - As long as there is a shortcut, all will do!

Bumping this request. This is super important for keeping things properly organized. This, combined with easy keyboard based navigation across layers is something I really love in Sketch and kind of miss in Affinity.

Idea: if you guys add a menu item for renaming layers, OS X users could add a custom keyboard shortcut for it. In the absence of a menu item, this is not possible.

+1 please add this. It's a small feature, but it's so important for making organization easy and efficient... and it will really reduce keyboard/mouse hand switching in my workflow, which improves the ergonomics of the program.
