How to mimic PS procedures in AP

I purchased AP in order to create some custom texture and bump maps to use in Keyshot. It seems like all the tutorials for KS are demonstrating PS to create the custom masks and textures. The one I am attempting to create now is shown in this video tutorial by Esben Oxholm.

 

So how do I create the same image illustrated in the video, I have viewed almost all the video tutorials for AP and have found nothing close to the same thing. Any pointers would be appreciated.

The equivalent of Filter > Other > Offset in Photoshop, is Filters > Distort > Affine in Affinity Photo.  Instead of 500px, use 50% instead.
