EvaKrat
Hello, this might be a completely stupid question but I'm new to Affinity Designer. I'm trying to use the vector brush tool as a background for the text on my flyer. I'm really at the beginnning of exploring the program and one of the most unique features for me is to be able to use the brushes creating the image of real paint strokes. However, as you can see, my strokes, when their width increased, are losing the resolution and seem blurred. Is there any way I can avoid this and keep high resolution even when drawing a wide brush stroke? Thank you very much! PS: I've been searching the internet fo find the answer to my question but no one seems to be having the same problem.
Staff Lee D Posted March 1, 2017 Staff Share Posted March 1, 2017 Hi Evakat, Welcome to the forums. Are you using Basic or Textured brushes for the stroke? As the edges will look blurry on textured once you have increased the stroke size.
