brunzenstein
I cannot get the motion blurr as shown in the second part of the Affinity Photo in-house video here: to come out as expected. Something with the gradient masking seems to go north It's a bug or me? Staff Lee D Posted January 11, 2017 Staff Share Posted January 11, 2017 Hi brunzenstein, Which part of the tutorial have you got to, have you moved the quickshape and nested it with the Motion Blur layer?
brunzenstein
Hi brunzenstein, Which part of the tutorial have you got to, have you moved the quickshape and nested it with the Motion Blur layer? Minute 5:50 - I have followed the videos instructions painstakingly . Can you do it? Staff Lee D Posted January 11, 2017 Staff Share Posted January 11, 2017 I've just ran through it and I can follow the steps OK, have you made sure the quickshape was moved over the motion blur. And selected before switching to the Gradient tool.

No, and thats most important, I understand (through my mistake) now the functionality. PS: The short (!) Affinity in-house videos are excellent indeed. Pls more of this!
