We were using those shortcuts for soft-hyphen and non-breaking hyphen, but dashes look to be more standard. They'll be in the next beta. Meanwhile you can use Edit => Special Characters; the dashes are at the start of General Punctuation area, U+2010, or type "Dash" into the search box.
