Try starting to app with the CTRL key held, when the other window appears release the key and press Clear. The app will then open, now try importing the asset file. If this doesn't work, follow the same steps. This time on the window, check to Reset Assets and then Clear. This will also reset the assets, so if you have create any or have added any others before, these will also need to be installed again.
