Help With Finding Color, Please...

Ok...so I used a combo of P and D to layout a clock dial, with gold colored numerals.  That was a few days ago.  Now, I want to retrieve the exact color I used for the numerals.  How do I find that color now?

If you still have the original file, open it, select the object (numerals), copy it ⌘ (cmd) + C then select the object where you want to apply the same colour, go to menu Edit ▸ Paste Style or press ⇧ (shift) + ⌘ (cmd) + V.

Thanks!  When I originally came up with that color, I remember using sliders to find just the right shade.  Is there any way to get back to that, so I can recreate the color using the sliders?

Hi darita,

To access the sliders go to the Colour panel, click the menu icon on top right of the panel and select Sliders. Then you have a small dropdown in the panel to select the format you want.
