This is what I did: Create a new web document SVGA. With the pen tool I draw two lines. Select both lines and group. In the panels palette I click on the icon "mask". Result: no crash. See the attached screenshot. What did you do before the crash occured? Perhaps we can nail that down. Cheers, d.
