Stefffff
New camera, Macbook and Affinity software. I'm in the midst of the tutorials and want to work with what I've got so far.I haven't figured out how to find my albums so I can edit. I just see all of the photos on my computer. No albums. They're RAW files, if that's helpful or significant. Thanks!
Staff MEB Posted September 6, 2016 Staff Share Posted September 6, 2016 Hi Stefffff, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) How are you importing the files from your camera to the computer? Are you using Apple Photos to import them? If you are simply importing them to a folder on your computer, then there's no albums. If you use Apple Photos (or similar software) then they will be imported to the program and organised automatically for you by dates/places etc. You can learn more about Apple Photos here. Regarding the RAW files you can open them for editing in Affinity Photo going to menu File ▸ Open and selecting the RAW file you want to edit. I advise you to check these video tutorials first to help you get started with Affinity Photo. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
